The Hood Canal Education Foundation was founded in 2009. The mission of HCEF is to seek and develop new and diverse sources of funding to support the educational needs and goals of the Hood Canal School District that are not, or cannot be, supported by traditional funding sources.
Our foundation membership is made up of community leaders, educators, and passionate individuals who are committed to the success of the school district in meeting the educational, cultural, and artistic needs of the students. All donations to this 501 C (3) non-profit foundation support programs and projects beyond what is generated through local tax revenues.

The foundation also accepts in-kind donations of goods and services. 95% of donations fund programs for the students of Hood Canal School District #404.
